There will be rumbling on the mountain September 16 as a diverse group of cultures come together to celebrate their common heritage.
The Fourth Annual Pocono Latin Fest will rock, reggae, & salsa at the Mountain Center in Tobyhanna that Sunday afternoon. Dozens of food vendors, local organizations and entertainers will come together to give an estimated 2,000 guests a taste of Latin culture.
Food vendors will represent a variety of countries and delicacies. That includes traditional Mexican tacos where the meat is sliced right off the skewers, oven roasted pork with rice and beans, and other authentic Caribbean and Dominican foods and Puerto Rican Ices.
There will also be a booth serving homemade cream.
The event will also include live entertainment for the entire family such as, a Latin percussion group, and bands performing Latin and rock styles. Guest will be entertained with Zumba demonstrations and local singers for the kids. Some of the more than 20 vendors will also represent community and religions organizations.
This year, the festival is hosted by Pocono Services for Families and Children.
