Short-term rentals shall fully comply with Chapter 154, Rental Property. Short-term rental status applies to all rentals for less than 30 days. Short-term rentals shall only be allowed in those districts where permitted by Chapter 215 (Zoning). A license is required and application for each rental unit used as short-term rental shall be filed with the Code Official prior to operation.
Each permit shall be renewed annually and at the time any of the conditions of the rental which are governed by this chapter are changed.
Strict adherence to Chapter 154 is required. If an owner of a short-term rental commits two or more offenses resulting in convictions within one year, the short-term rental license may be revoked.
