Building Code and Inspection

All construction procedures are regulated by the International Building Code (IBC), International Residential Code (IRC), and Uniform Construction Code (UCC). They outline procedures related to fire safety, electrical work, plumbing, and more. The Borough uses a third-party agency, SFM Consulting LLC, for building code permit, inspection and enforcement.
