Exciting news for Mount Pocono!
The Borough has been awarded a $600,000 grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) to fund long-overdue improvements to Pine Hill Road. This critical project will enhance safety at one of our most challenging intersections by widening the road, installing a traffic light, and adding essential features to improve visibility and traffic flow.
Anyone who has tried to pull out of Pine Hill Road knows how difficult—and dangerous—it can be. With limited sightlines and increasing traffic, this intersection has long needed attention. Thanks to this funding, we can finally move forward with making it safer for residents, commuters, and visitors alike.
